Client had a conviction for a gun crime out of justice court and was worried about the effect it would have on his security clearance. We successfully petitioned to have his conviction set aside.
No Charges Filed – Sexual Assault
Client was being investigated for sexually abusing a minor. We convinced the investigating detective not to file any charges.

Phoenix Municipal Court
Client charged with Regular DUI in Phoenix Municipal Court. BAC results were high enough to qualify for an Extreme DUI. We got the case dismissed entirely. No jail time and no DUI conviction went on the client’s record.

Dismissal – Possession of Narcotic Drugs

Client lived out of state and discovered that he had a felony warrant for possession of narcotic drugs in Arizona after an employment background check. We were able to file a motion to quash to get the warrant resolved and then plead the case to a diversion program. The case was dismissed after the client successfully completed the program. This was all handled remotely for the client, and at no point did the client have to return to Arizona.
Charges Reduced – Aggravated Assault
Pinal County Superior Court
Client was charged in Pinal Superior Court with Aggravated DUI, Aggravated Assault, Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct, and Interference with Judicial Proceedings–three designated felonies and three misdemeanors. We got the case pled to a class 6 undesignated felony with no jail time and the opportunity to classify the case as a misdemeanor after probation. The most serious charges of Aggravated Assault were dropped entirely.

Scottsdale City Court
When client came to us, the prosecutor had given him an offer of a “plead to the charge” of resisting arrest. He was faced with the choice of either pleading guilty or facing up to 6 months in jail after trial. We began a thorough investigation. After obtaining and reviewing the police officer’s body cam footage, we discovered weaknesses in the State’s case that were not contained in the police report. With this information, we successfully negotiated a deviation offer for the client which lead to a dismissal of his case.

Client was charged with assault and trespassing after police were called during his visit to a local nightclub. We obtained a diversion plea which led to the charges against our client being dismissed.

Client had a BAC over the Super Extreme limit as well as prior DUI convictions. He was facing a minimum of 45 days in jail if convicted. We were able to reduce his sentence to only 1 day of jail time.

Client faced criminal speeding charges. We were able to get the case lowered to a civil traffic ticket. No criminal conviction went on the client’s record.

Client was facing a petition to revoke probation and sentence him to prison for probation violations. Not only were we able to convince the judge not to revoke his probation and send him to prison, the judge granted our request to terminate our client’s probation entirely so that his sentence was served and he was no longer under the supervision of probation.
